Barming Youth Club opened, after its customary 2 month break, on Friday 5 March and is pleased to report that over 30 youths attended. The club has recently gained funding through Kent Youth for £300 and this will pay for new equipment which is needed for the group, in fact the young people will decide where this money is spent.
This club is for any young people who are either 11 years old or in Year 6 at school. It costs nothing to become a member but there is a weekly charge of £1. We open from 7 - 9 pm in the Pavilion, off Church Lane, Barming and different activities are available such as: snooker, table tennis and in the lighter evenings football, rounders, etc.
